The Italian seaplane of Major Maddalena arrived today at Vadsø.

The Italian seaplane, piloted by Major Maddalena, arrived at Vadsø in northern Norway today. Weather permitting, it should be in King's Bay soon in order to join in the rescue operations for General Umberto Nobile and his crew.

Plans are on the way to search for the three members of the crew of the Italia who have separated from the rest with the hope to get to Spitsbergen. Some of the Norwegian airmen, assisted by dog teams, have been supplied with food rations and are ready to set out in search for the three.
