Exploring cultures and communities – the slow way

A look ahead at hidden europe 41 which will be published on 8 November 2013.

article summary —

Hidden europe 41 will be published on 8 November 2013. In that next issue of the magazine, we shall carry articles on eastern Slovakia and a small town in Danish Jutland. And we revisit Wales, the first time for a while that the principality has featured in hidden europe. The article on rural Brandenburg, originally scheduled for this issue, will now appear in November. The chance to write on Gleisdreieck for this issue was just too good to miss, and we thought a double dose of our home region in one issue might be judged as editorial self-indulgence.

Beyond the 40th issue of hidden europe, this month marks another milestone in our work. On 1 July 2013, we published issue 300 of our e-brief Letter from Europe. It reveals all the quirks and quiddities of hidden europe. You can sign up to receive Letter from Europe on our website.
