We are already hard at work on hidden europe 59, which will be published on Monday 11 November 2019. In that upcoming issue, we shall visit the handsome Slovenian town of Radovljica which this year marks the 60th anniversary of the opening of its museum of apiculture. We shall also look at how travel writers have fared in times of conflict and war and explore the peculiar malady which can afflict visitors to the great Franciscan Basilica di Santa Croce in Florence.
We are presently also busy preparing a new edition of our book Europe by Rail: The Definitive Guide . With stocks of the 15th edition now almost exhausted, a fully updated and expanded 16th edition will be published in mid-October. If you are itching to roam Europe by train before then, and cannot get hold of the 15th edition, let us know as we have a limited number of signed copies of that edition for sale.
